Template:Revamp Template:Infobox mission First Glimpse is the 2nd story mission in inFamous.

Starting the mission

The mission automatically begins after charging the batteries on Zeke's roof and shooting several mannequins. A plane flies overhead and the "TV Jacker" appears on the television for his first appearance. After the Voice of Survival informs everyone of the food drop in Archer Square, Cole and Zeke head off to pick up Zeke’s new gun that he traded one of his homemade batteries for.

Walking Battery

Cole takes the "express elevator" to the street below, demonstrating his ability to jump from great heights without harming himself, then follows Zeke to collect his new "six shooter". After reaching the parking lot where the gun is hidden, Cole uses Shockwave on the cars to reveal the location of it. After doing so, he feels "drained". Zeke tells him to use the surroundings to restore his energy. They then head towards Archer.

Archer Square

Reapers Graduation Photo

The Reapers arrive.

Once the duo reach their destination, they find the food drop stuck to the statue in the center. Zeke tells Cole that he’s the only one who would survive a fall like that. Cole heads to the top and zaps free the crate, but ultimately is too late.

A comic-style cutscene plays in which Cole sees the Reapers appear for the first time in the game, attacking the pedestrians. Cole then thunder drops to the bottom and defeats the Reapers.

Karmic Moment

Good

Cole can allow the starving civilians to take the food in the crates so they won't starve. This will shift your Karmic rank to Guardian. Zeke will then complain that the food is canned prunes. Trish will comment on the state of the people and that they would have died without the food.

Evil

There is enough food there to feed Cole, Zeke, and Trish for weeks, so Cole zaps a few of the people in the crowd to scare them away. Trish will then berate him for being selfish.

Terrorist

TV Jacker

The Voice of Survival.

The VoS then comes onto the screen and tells everyone that Cole is in fact a "terrorist" who caused all of this, showing a photo of him opening the Ray Sphere package. Another comic scene plays showing that Trish becomes greatly heartbroken over the fact that Cole is the reason her sister Amy is dead. The crowd quickly becomes a mob, and Cole and Zeke make plans to meet at Stampton Bridge.

Trivia

  • For the Karmic Moment, Cole doesn't have to electrocute anybody. Just discharging electricity or throwing punches will qualify for Evil Karma.
