hey, I just got a directive from RB, and he told me to not include Catagories to Blog posts. I was wondering if there was anything else I should look out for, and if it would be too much trouble to get some help with this.
as for what this is, I wrote a blog post, a lengthy one, about my own material. specifically, it is set in InFamous, Second Son, and I was wondering, si that even allowed?
also, this is the least important of them, do you know who the head honcho is, as I'm looking for people who deal in absolutes, and not be disrespectful or anything of the like, but Chat Moderator... it doesn't strike me as the highest rank possible. mind you, I understand how that sounds, and I'm cringing at even saying it, so I'm sorry for that.
I'm honestly surprised I left it in...
anyway, I don't think your rules and regulations page (or what basically qualifies as it) covers what I'm doing. that's why I'm asking for help on this.
At the final level kessler was using these phantom like clones, he was able to teleport a short distance, and was able to throw Zeke a far distance. Does Cole have the same abilities as delsin? If he's doesn't then how come Cole doesn't have the same abilities as Kessler?
Going back to our discussion about removing year pages, I have contacted Shrev on discord and he definitely agreed they should go. But first, I will need to transfer the content to the timeline (which also needs a revamp) before they can be removed. I could probably use some asisstance with this, if you're available whenever.
Basically, the timeline page needs to be rewritten to look like an actual timeline, following a similar style to this onefrom the Uncharted Wiki. The year pages will be an excellent resource for placing the information on to the page, though we can ditch the real life info regarding console and game releases since that's not really canon.
Really, the hard part will be placing the events in the correct chronological order. It's also missing info regarding Festival of Blood, which I haven't played. If you happen to know the game well, then you could help with that as well.
FoB can fit into one bullet point as the only parts that are definitively canon is the beginning prologue and the epilogue with Zeke at the bar. Could probably be summed up with "Zeke tells the story of Pyre Night to Cat."
Hey Jim, what would be your thoughts on changing all instances (including page titles and redirects) of InFamous, inFAMOUS, or inFamous to its normal spelling - Infamous? In my opinion, it would be great for consistency and quality purposes.
I know the other is more common, but trust me, it'll work fine :)
Oh, by the way, I began working on a revamp for the Timeline page here in my sandbox. You're welcome to contribute to it if you're interested.
With my frequent activity here and substantial edits, I can really help clean his place up if I ask Shrev to give me content moderator rights. Is there a specific edit requirement for being content mod?
Hello, I see that you revert my edit multiple times, so I want to sorry for my action, and also want to explain.
1. No source
- The "Delsin has been met with mixed to negative reception" part has no official source and where it come from, it just simply stay on the page for no reason
2. False information, and intention (or just accidentally) to attack the character
- The "negative fire for character development" is really wrong, we can see how he became hero and people's hope in Good Karma, and became very twisted in Evil Karma. Entire inFAMOUS Series is about Protagonists' character development.
- "and the developers seemingly were more interested in making someone as far from the former protagonist in powers". Okay, we can see clearly that this part means "Delsin has negative reception because he got more power than Cole", this part attacks Delsin's character because it looks like Delsin is stronger than Cole (which is not).
-We have many characters page in this wiki, and why is Delsin the only one who has this "Reception" part while other characters doesn't? Not to mention that other characters in other wikis also doesn't have this part, because is unnecessary.
I just want to talk about (and fix) this. No offense intended.
Howdy there, apologies for getting to this late, I literally just got home from work.
To answer your statements, I'd been meaning to get Reception sections on most character pages, not all of them as it's hard to gauge fandom reception, especially on for a lack of better term, a dead series.
While it was a tad annoying for you to revert my reverting of your edit, no you are not in any trouble, I want to make that extremely clear. I am not mad at you, no actions will be taken against you. You are not in the wrong.
If you would like to further discuss, I'd be more than happy to chat with a fellow fan, perhaps clean up said Reception section, and begin to hit the other main character pages in the future if so desired.
You can get back to me as soon as you can, whenever you're free. Have a good day, cheers!
