Yo Trindave. I was wondering if you could do me a solid, and try and gather some more images of the Classic Cole skin. I'm sorry I have to ask but for some reason my laptop despises the PVR and I can't record cutscenes with the skin in question. Anyway, if you can't I totally understand. Get back to me ASAP please.
You mean Classic Cole's skin from inFamous 2? In that case, I can only do some research and capture some proper screens from YT videos, because I don't have any recording software for my PS3. In case of Second Son however, I'll do my best to make some fancy screenshots with that skin.
Anyway, I'm on it already. I'll get back to you after a while.
Whoa, I must say, that is a pretty surprising concept. I don't know if I will have a lot of time in the near future (since this is my last year of high school, and I need to brace myself for the exams), but if the rest of the crew approve this idea, I'll try to improve the site as much as i can.
It'll definately be more than any of the other admins and crats. I'll check out with the others and get back on you. Also, I'm planning to update our image policy, so that's that. Basically images for Second Son/First Light must be taken by using Photo Mode and without filters, with all other editing functions usable but minimum blur. I'm gonna also create a page for photo mode, and make an open gallery that anyone can edit and add picture to.
About image policy update: I definitely approve this idea. Filtered pics may look fancy, but they just doesn't represent an encyclopedic style, that should be kept at least in articles. However, an open gallery for anything else from SS and FL, seems to be a pretty cool concept.
Well, while i can provide some proper graphics, writing about events would be kinda problematic for me, since I am not very fluent with using english language. It takes me some time to write something long that actually makes sense. Moreover, I am already making mission articles at Polish inFamous Wiki (pl.infamous.wikia.com), so I reaaaaally don't want to go through them again.
Yeah, I know. But Stencil Art was a more graphic-based thing, which I wanted to take care of from the moment, I got the game. However, just like I stated before, I am really not in the mood to describe story missions in english. Maybe some other time I will gird up my loins and scribble something, but not in the near future.
But, hey, you can count on me in case of graphics. Here are examples of Second Son's story missions on our wiki:
Hello Trindave! I happened to notice that you were a bureaucrat at the Polish inFAMOUS Wiki and I come around to check it out. I noticed at lot of cool designs you have and I talked with Shrev and Red (the bureaucrats here) and we decided that we would like to use some of your improvements such as the search bar logo and the navigation bar logos. What do you say?
Well, to make it work, you'll need to insert an appropriate code in your MediaWiki:Wikia.css page. In our Wikia.css page it is labeled under /*** Pasek wyszukiwania ***/ heading, which is placed on 94th line. It ends on 132nd line. Copy/paste should work here perfectly.
That's right. This graphic is called "Obrazek pod nawigację.png", which can be found under that link. Now for the css stuff... It is labeled under /* Obrazek pod nawigację */ gray title, which is placed on 73rd line. Code for navigation bar picture is pretty short though.
I wish it could be so simple, but unfortunately it does require some fun with Wikia.css. A code for it can be found under /* Loga w miejscu gier */ title, at 251st line. Copy everything from here to 281st line, and paste it on your css page.
I'm was actually thinking about removing Festival of Blood but I guess it wouldn't be fair to have First Light and not Festival of Blood, so we'll remove the two DLCs if, in the future, a new tital is released.
Back on point: I'm going to need those images (since yours have transperant borders).
Yeah, i think that's a good idea, because an another logo just wouldn't fit in navbar.
About images, here are the links. They work and look fine at our wiki, so there shouldn't be any problems. Just remember to replace existing urls at css.
