Mobs

Appearance

The citizens of Empire City can turn sour if you are Infamous ranked or you are in a mob mission. They come in many different colors with both female and males coming after you. Usually before they attack you they shout some phrase to gather more friends such as "It's all his fault this is happening". Some mob members have signs as well as stones.

Attacks

Angry civilians can run up to you and start hitting you
They are able to pick up an infinite number of rocks and pelt you with them
Some mob members have a sign or banner with which to whack you.
The Police and SWAT teams will aid the civilians for your downfall.

Combat

Civilians are easily disposed of and killing some usually makes others run away.
Their attacks do low damage but can still kill you if you pay no attention to them.
They usually shout some phrase before attacking.
They do not show up as enemies on the mini-map but you still get XP for killing them.

Trivia

Normal pedestrians can begin attacking you even after you have helped them in a mission.
During some Dark Water missions infected citizens may attack you and butt you with their heads
In "Against the World" the civilians affected by the mind-toxin show behavior similar to that of zombies in other games such as running with the classic to hands held outwards. Fortunately they do not bite.
While going for Good Karma, in some Good Missions you are to protect these Mobs from the gangs the are protesting against. Despite which gang area the signs they hold always have a Reaper Poster with a no sign through it, most likely an oversight from the designers.
