Satellite Uplinks were a series of four neutral side missions in Infamous. Cole had to activate a series of satellite uplinks in each district of Empire City. This would allow him to track the location of all other side missions.
Once starting the mission, Cole would be guided to the first satellite. He had to drain it with Electric Drain. Doing so would trigger a timer, and Cole would have to race pass the other satellites to re-synchronize them in order to reactivate the satellite uplinks.
This mission is beneficial to the game as it increases the amount of safe area and the completion of each district. After gaining the power Induction Grind, it is much easier to quickly get to uplinks, although the missions become more difficult.
