Sebastian Wolfe was a scientist who worked for the First Sons on their Ray Sphere project. He was once close friends with Kessler but changed his mind when he saw what they did to Empire City. Wolfe also created the Ray Field Inhibitor, also known as the Anti-Ray Sphere. He later gives the device to Cole so he can stop the Beast.[1]

Sebastian Wolfe was originally working under the First Sons, helping them create the Ray Sphere, and during this time stockpiled "Rayacite" fragments from the testing. Wolfe use to be a friend of Kessler, but after learning what he was going to do, Wolfe rejected their friendship. He kept contact with NSA agent Lucy Kuo, by sending messages to her through the use of pigeons.
