This ability is available early in the game and allows for you to rain explosive balls of electricity down from buildings, a welcome upgrade from trying to shock hiding enemies with the [[Lightning Bolt]]. Grenades should be thrown at clusters of enemies or spammed at tougher foes. Good Cole has the ability to bind enemies, while Evil Cole will have more shock value with grenades that split into multiple ones.

With [[Good Karma]], Cole throws only one very powerful, very precise grenade. At Guardian rank, you can increase the knockdown time caused by each blast. At Champion rank, you can increase the blast force and damage. At Hero rank, your grenade increases in damage again and also automatically Arc Restrains any damaged enemies (or civilians, which is disadvantageous, seeing as restraining civilians gives you bad Karma), making it a mostly non-lethal explosive.

This power is perfect when dealing with large groups of enemies or just wreaking havoc on the innocent civilians of the city.
