A Swamp Monster attacking a Militia member
The Swamp Monsters are the most common of the Corrupted of the variants seen thus far; they are the least heavily mutated, they largely resemble humanoids with blade-like arms, and hunched, talon-tipped legs that allow them to run at high speeds. There also appear to be variants with yellow sacs of explosive liquid in place of heads called Gasbags.
