Hello Chaps and Chapesses!
For the last time… here we go.
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart I must step down from my position of bureaucrat here at the InFamous wiki. My time as bureaucrat has seen the announcement of a new instalment in our beloved franchise, and whilst you chaps have been discussing the pros and cons of a new character on a new console, I’ve had my personal life turned upside down by some major changes.
As some of you know, an accident changed my life 4 years ago, leaving me, not only with a disability that I have had to learn to deal with, but without a job. It’s been a difficult few years, and working on the wiki was one of the things that helped take my mind off of real life. However, real life plods on, there i…

Also make sure that the image does not already exsist on the wiki, I can not tell you how many times some images have been uploaded (and subsequently deleted!).
I will give warnings to editors that do not follow the wiki rules (Which as always can be read here![1])

Speculation & The Forums
With the announcement of inFamous Second Son we are launched into speculation season. Now I’m all for chatting (preferably with a beer or a glass of wine in hand) However that’s what our forums are for, I want to see many wonderful threads full of discussions as to the future of the inFamous series/ how this new addition will integrate itself in the existing cannon/ will we see old characters etc etc. As I’ve said I want to see these over on the forums, not on the actual pages. The talk function at the bottom of each article page are to discuss the articles, any problems, requests for images, that kind of thing. Shiny New Toys & Writing Policies

Talk & Forums
So the magnificent Redexx and The Supreme Diamond-Hooded Eagle have suggested and implemented new talk pages for each article and the new shiny forums, which I’m happy to see are already in use.
Editing Policies
It’s also great to see new editors getting involved, however I have noticed a slip in the quality of the edits and a disregard of the Wiki editing policies (set up by those lovely people at Community Central) I ask all our new editors (and some of our older ones) to re-read the Manual of Style

Merry Christmas!
So instead I shall simply thank you from the bottom of my heart for another excellent year on the InFamous wiki, the place still looks great and with new editors and a magnificent admin team (feel free to take bows, Electric Tuna, Redexx, Jim Logan and CaptainMagnum) we're looking in fabulous shape for the New Year.
